Chinese Cultural Social Group Gathering

Fall Gathering—Sunday 10/22/11 from 3:00pm – 5:00 pm

(Moon Festival Event has been rescheduled to be at Eola Library on Saturday, 9/24 from 1-2pm)

Where: Naperville River Walk Playground 320 W. Jackson Ave. Naperville IL

What will we do?

Enjoy healthy snack food and meeting parents, students and professionals who are interested in Chinese culture, education and bilingualism.

What to bring? Chairs or blankets to sit on the floor. Bug Sprays. Paper cups/plates. Healthy vegetarian snacks. Ideas or games kids can play together (e.g. jump rope, ball).

Information/book/DVDs/CDs on Chinese language and culture, good health, better speech-language hearing, and how to raise a bilingual child will be available for free distribution Please RSVP via e-mailing sf7chang@hotmail.com (indicate your names and ages of all children who will be attending) before 10/15/11

Cost: Free. Donations to support this event are warmly welcome.

Directions:
Coming from Ogden and Wasington or Chicago and Washington:
Take Washington South to Jefferson Ave, turning on right if you are from North to South on Washington, turning on left if you are from south to North on Washington. Turning left on West Street, then right on Jackson Ave. Continuing on Jackson Ave heading south, passing Naperville park district building, passing Centennial Beach park (500 West Jackson Ave), continuing heading south until you see a sign "dead end", just before that sign has a brown sign with arrow to River walk, you will turn left following the brown arrow to river walk, then turn right on Honorary Sindt Road, you will see the parking space and play group and picnic area. We will be in the picnic area. Should you have any questions to find the place, please call Ying at 630-373-7458.
